Well, I will admit. I am a huge fan of Football Manager.

It all started with Hull City in Championship Manager 4 when I achieved back to back promotions and became a star manager.

Then FM11 and FM12 happened and my machine ran out of configuration to support the later versions.

I have spend sleepless nights, playing half the season in a day.

But then, I got bored. Because the game became static.

I started with Histon in Blue Square North, took them to the Championship in 7 years, got a job offer from Tottenham (an Arsenal fan I am) and won Champions League in 4 years.

Now, as a player, what more you want? The game becomes static and you just rinse and repeat what you did in the last decade of you being a Football Manager.

Being an ardent fan, I thought about how can I make this game better, exciting, UNPREDICTABLE?

Well,I did have an idea. Yes, you CAN make something better then Football Manager.

I have the abstract in mind but I am not a programmer and hence, I am looking for help in designing and coding logics regarding passing, shooting, defence, attack, player attributes.

Every kind of help will be appreciated. And if you think you can play a bigger part in this, please PM me.

Have a wonderful day ahead.

I am a programmer, and i tell you, the coding of Football Manager is not easy AT ALL...

You need advance mathematics in this kind of coding.. I mean ADVANCE

As a programmer too, I second this!

I agree with you and I too understand this. But surely I can find people who can make football management simulation games website like managerleague.com, soccermanager.com, trophymanager.com etc.

See, the change I have thought about is not in the team talks and results; its the interaction that I want to change. I know FM is a giant and it took them 2 decades to reach where they are today. I want to start and then see what happens.

Yes you are right but I have no idea and I am not asking anybody to do it for free or for charity. I have long term plans with this and i am willing to pay if I can find the right person.

Its not cheap, you know? You will have to pay them from the get-go, too, not when/if your "idea" works. You should probably start by spending the money to learn yourself, first, then find a team, if you are serious about it.

That's how many businesses work.

The guy with the "idea" for a business would still do an incredible amount of work.

People involved with Indie Development in and around the game dev industry don't totally appreciate the whole "Basically I have an idea, but need other people to do all the work." idea either.
