Wenger Sacked as Arsenal Manager
After another season without a trophy, Arsenal have sacked long serving manager Arsene Wenger. Wenger enjoyed alot of success with Arsenal, but after a few years without a trophy, the Arsenal board believe Arsenal needs new blood.

The Arsenal board did hint however, that they are already in talks with the potential replacement of Arsene Wenger, revealing he was part of Arsenal's 'Invincible' side, who went the whole Premier League season without defeat.

Arsenal Unveil Lehmann as Manager

Arsenal have revealed that former German goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is the new Arsenal manager, and will be his first managerial job. The Fans are excited that the Arsenal board have brought in someone who knows the club very well, and is a legend in many people's eyes. Lehmann played every game of the Invincibles season, and is arguably one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time.

Lehmann said that he is delighted that he has been given such a big opportunity, and hopes that Arsenal will be able to win silverware very soon.

Lehmann makes first two signings as Arsenal manager

Arsenal have confirmed the signings of Valencia's Jordi Alba, and Lille's Eden Hazard. Jordi Alba has joined Arsenal for a fee of £12.5m, and is Lehmann's first transfer signing as a manager. The other signing, Eden Hazard from French side Lille, cost £30m, but the fans seem confident that Lehmann hasn't payed over the odds. Hazard was wanted by several top clubs, but he said Arsenal were "too good to turn down". Lehmann also brought in former team mate Dennis Bergkamp, as a first team coach.
