Signed him for my Atletico Madrid team and thought I would share with those who are struggling to find a decent attacking fullback for their teams on the FM11 demo. Couped him for £2.8million from Turkish side Fenerbahce and, since I had first bought him with Tottenham, he was continually immense for me.
He is superb technically, with the ability to dribble, cross and pass, with decent pace to attack down the left-hand side and even composed on the ball, using his quick feet and trickery to get past opposing players.
At 27-years-old, he is one year younger than Maxwell, who always seems to be transfer-listed on the game and, if you cannot get him, then you can get Andre Santos for half the price Barca are normally looking for. Although originally a wingback, he is still good at left back and can still re-enact the likes of Gareth Bale, Adriano, Ashley Cole, Patrice Evra, Daniel Alves (etc.) in their attacking ventures.
