Annoying, not listening, what is this?? read pleas!

I'm getting annoyed of the tactic system and why..

I don't think i'm the only one that is a bit angry about the tactic and roles explaination.
I'm playing a long time, tried a lot of tactic, saw how players react, the influence of their abilities etc..

So my first example, I was playing Luis suarez as F9, decent role. You give him instructions to come in the ball play simple football etc etc. What do i see on the pitch, a lazy player that plays like a poacher waiting to run in to the gaps, while if i believe all my shouts and PPM he come into the ball. So after 3 saisons i trained im go into gaps, play direct football so i could play him as a real poacher what he start to do comming in the ball was always just in front of my midfield and didnt play as poacher.

Second example, i played complete wingbacks, o **** what is this awfull. I trained them to play wide, easy football, when they had the chance just bring that ball in the box. What they did stayed at the back and if they where forward they never came back, so few weeks later i was trying to play a defensive tactic and tried wingbacks defensive, also trained them keep in position and dont take riskes etc etc, They where amazing they runned over my inside forward keep pushing that ball in the box and always where back, i think at the end of the saison they had together about 30 assist, while i was expecting a solid back 4 narrow..

Everyone like Barca and Bayern pressing, so we play in every tactic hassle oppenents. What I see when i am playing wiht hasstle oppenents is a team that is overal comming to late so i tried no pression no tackels, i think every player in the midfield always recovered the ball higher up the pitch..

Should we play a high defensive line like Barca is so good in are lower like Mourinho likes to do with his team. I would rather say never use put high defensive line if a saw more then 500 games they both come to midfield when in possessien, the only difference is that the defensive line with high is going forward when they lose ball but i never saw a whole back 4 running deep if they lose the ball even barcelona is playing a few meters back if they lose..

So why are they names that i just mentioned that they dont do what you expect with the right PPM the right shouts right team instructions and even the best player that you can mention for that position?

How can we play a game that you just can't understand..

I don't understand that players are saying again counter against goal, that's just amazing because in real life it is so difficult to defense a corner and the mark your players good..

But if i was coach and i ask the play my striker as F9 and come in the ball i except him to do that and dont play as poacher..

I don't think i play another game as you guys.. You all should has seen it before..

Why did you think he'd make a good False 9? Those two make him pretty much the opposite of a F9.
You can't just look at the attributes when deciding what roles to put the players in.

I've got Suarez to score 20 goals in the first season by playing his as an Advanced Forward and putting a team around him that played to his strengths.

Why did you think he'd make a good False 9? Those two make him pretty much the opposite of a F9.

You need to read better, i told you that i was in my 4 saison. You need to say he has great attributes for F9 so i used to switch his PPM to i think it was: Comes to pick u ball deeper, play easy passes, try to play killer balls, place shots and choose for pass instead of shooting.

So if you read that PPM with the correct attributes that he has what would you except. I would except that i comes in the ball play it back then the next one comes.. if he comes for goal but not in center and you have 2 in the center i would not except that he would shoot but try to play the ball centenly because it's 3 attackers vs 2 defenders..

If he's shooting in position where he shouldn't be, 9 time out of 10, it's your tactics.
We've all been there, it sucks, but most of the problems I've ever had with FM (FM14 included) could be fixed with clear, concise, thoughtful and logical tactical instructions. If they are not doing what you want them to do, you have to assume the problem is with your tactics.
