another low virtual memory thread

I know there are other threads about this and I know the obvious solution should be getting more ram

BUT

I never had this problem until now: in my second season with San Marino the game regularly crashes out because of this. I reload, go on, but the game will still crash after some time.

This is very strange because in the recent past I played a virtually identical San marino save until 2018 and never had a crash or a problem.

I have 4gb ram which should be enough, I don't run programs in the background, I don't have too many leagues or players loaded (if that matters, my computer is rated 3 stars and a half, and game speed 5 stars)

any help would be appreciated

Check how much Ram you are using while playing using Task Manager but I dont know much else

I just checked and didn't spot anything suspect, not sure what I was lookin at though...

Is the CPU usage high while playing FM, like over 75%

peak seemed to be 45%

I will play until the next crash and keep an eye on that

it does indeed go at 80% after some time so it might be the problem, anything I can do about that?

You sure you have no background programs running.
maybe try GameBooster as that closes unnecessary background programs

none that I'm aware of

I'll try gamebooster, still strange that I never had this problem until now, especially with the other San marino save oO)
