any one cleared Man Utds debt on FM?

hey there
i was wondering on football manager 10
has anyone ever managed to clear man utds 500mill odd debt on the game?
does it increase or decrease every season?
thanks!!
 
Never managed it, but tbh I don't really manage them too much..

Best person to ask would probably be KingEric as he is the furthest into the game with United that I know of..
 
I've got it down to 519m, must be doing something wrong because i'm in 2018!
 
OSullivan you probably overspent and they had to take out new loans.
 
In my Tottenham save it got up to 1.1billion now sits around 500m, the computer seems to manage the finances poorly, but it is some hefty debt to remove!

I don't think so, there are no loans except the 2035 main one.
Although David Gill (Chairman) sometimes gives around 15m to "help with running costs"?
