I'm doing a new save with AC Milan & i'm terrible with creating tactics, the team will be:

-------------------------Abbiati----------------------
---Abate-----------Nesta---Silva----------Antonini
----------------------Van Bommel-------------------
-----------------Nocerino---------Verratti---------
-------------------------Boateng---------------------
------------------Ibrahimovic-----Pato-------------

do i attack through middle or mixed? & should i keep the same tactic both home+away?

also suggested help for the roles of the midfielders/strikers would be very helpful, feel free to recommend some players too.

Thanks

Ibra as target man, Pato as poacher. Play through the middle. Van Bommel, anchor man. Nocerino and Veratti, CM or Box-toBox, Boateng trequartista.

Set your RB and Left to 'Hug Touchline' to offer width for an outlet, they'll be more likely to get forward as they have space to exploit.

A lot of teams in Italy play with no wingers.
I usually player mixed not through middle. As it doesn't restrict the passing and through the middle is easily stopped.

Set fullbacks to support or attack depending on how you get on.

I normally player stopper cover duties and the use the feedback from asst for the roles of the centre backs.

Anchor man. Then DLP support, AP support, AM attack or Treq.

I would play Cm forward and poacher.

But set poacher to normal wide play and reduce his run from deep and ball to rarely. Stops him from roaming let Ibra do that.

You stay classy......
