Just had a thought....

Has anybody every tried creating a game and not making ANY signings?

So you keep your original squad, and only lose players to retirement or sale and only getting new players into your first team via your youth squad and reserves?

Would be interesting to see how your team did....

Cant say that I have. Dont think it would be very succesful unless you produce top quality youth players.

I was thinking the same. but the money you save from not buying players you can spend on training facilities & better coaches etc

Yes i did with Arsenal on fm 08 i think it was. did 2 or 3 seasons and did alright just by end of it i had loads to spend so went on a big spree

you would need good youth

too risky imo. besides, there arent many teams that produce quality youths every season
