Anyone created there own club?

Just decided to create my own club and was wondering if anyone else has done it and how they got on.

I replaced Luton in the BSP with Portsmouth Pirates lol and doing not bad so far.

i made my club and build my friends and me as players bu i dont play because i cant make the faces and the logo so it's in stand-by till i lern how to do that

I did attempt to in FM10, but I really couldn't be bothered to create 20+ players and staff.

I just signed free players to the club to save making all the players.

I did a web comic a couple of years ago called 4.5.1 - The funny side of footy, and it followed the exploits of Tony Bamber, manager of Westfield United. One of the people who followed the comic did an edit on one of the older FM's, he put every player in there, the staff, Chairman even did the kits, it was well boss!

I do it every year, using my Saturday league team in real life. Its always fun at first, starting in the BSP, but I always put their PAs really high - by the time I hit the EPL, they've all left...

...so this year, I tied them down to eight year contracts. Bingo.

If I ever get bored of my main unedited game, this always serves as a welcome distraction.

I created a local team (Newbiggin Harriers), and started in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, won the title, won Blue Square Bet North title, runners up in Blue Square Prem, and just started my second season in Npower League 2. All players were computer generated, basic training and youth facilities, have a contract of £1 per year (frees up money for the club), and retain players where I can as they're youth and they've really progressed, and have stadium at Kingston Park. Also won FA trophy too. Have one year left in contract, and debating whether or not to stay. Probably will and try to get to championship

I create my own team every year too. Create everything but let the game create the players and staff for me. Its quite fun to start in the BSN and see how many years it takes to make it to the Premier league. Quickest I've done it is 8 seasons thru winning the league or playoffs.

iv created a team and let the game pick ma players and staff and that but i go into the proper game and all i have is aload of **** youth is that how its ment to be ?

You can make them better, if you give training facilities and youth facilities maximum ratings, and if you put top notch coaching staff in your team. If you want certain types of players of certain quality, just either get them from other teams, or make them. You can pretty much have top notch players in your team if you muck about with stats/attributes, but the better the player, the higher the wage, and the more teams will be after them.
