Anyone ever have this happen to them?!

Just started a new save, had a better than expected season. I'm going head to head with Chelsea for the title and looking good for it! But the most bizarre thing has happened.. as you may have noticed from the image below you will see that Man U have been relegated! When they came to the Emerites, I played a second string team because of injuries and beat them 13-0!!!

Alex Ferguson has been sacked, 99% players have handed in transfer requests and their coaching staff have gone missing! Is this a bug? or has anyone else experienced this on football manager 2011?

Strange...

Ferguson must've gone mad mate I had never seen this happen.

By the way, why hasn't Wigan been relegated? Are you playing an original patch?
 
yeah the original 11.3 patch i downloaded it from the official site!
i'm guessing because wigan still have a mathematical chance of avoiding the drop? ;)
 
Ferguson has been sacked first season on mine once, and was replaced by Martin O'Niell :P

Yep , horrible math by me x)

This is very weird mate, I've seen ManU finish 5th in the first season but this is just surreal.

haha no worries mate, yeah I know its ****** wierd! Not that i'm complaining! Brought Hernandez on the cheap ;)
 
I have seen City finish 17th once but not this, never.

idk, theres been a few weird things in this save including that. Another was that the aggregate scores were messed up aswell. For example, in the CL the away goals didn't count for anything! i'm gonna continue with this save and see what other amusing moments it wants to throw up!
 
i have had chelsea and man city relagated but never Man Utd, but I have seen Sir Alex sacked and replaced my Martin O'Neil
 
won 4 and drawn 1 would give 13 points. administration in the EPL is a 9-point deduction, giving 4 points. The landmarks screen would be rather interesting to see. As would the general info page and the Transfers page for United
 
Either:

You downloaded a custom database thats got inherent issues/bias/is just totally ****** up, instead of the 11.3 patch (probable)
You FMRTE'd Man Utd to destroy them (probable considering the number of points to games won/drawn)
This is a massive bug that no-one else has experienced and slipped through all the testing (unlikely)
 
i did have a cave on a world leageu setup i was testing but when i got to season 2 man city finished 4th in the top division and 2nd in the 2nd division at the same time once which was weird, so these things can happen.

but i've never experienced anything wuite like that.
 
wow relegation. unusual, cuz in my save, they had a low of 5th. must be a messed up bug!
 
are u using marshal's update or like ur own created DB.
mostly likely u FMTRE the ***** out of manU. cuz u are angry that u can beat them easily.

(4*3) +1 = 13.
