Anyone get this working on Steam Deck?

Long shot but has anyone successfully played this on Steam Deck? I've tried various proton DBs, and the game boots on a couple of them. As soon as it gets past the ads / legal bits it crashes. Any tips?

I do. I bought the actual game disc off eBay and installed it via steam. No problem

Thanks for sharing. This is on steam deck yes? I ask because it doesn't have a disc drive but appreciate you can just use the steam key and download from the store. Did you use a particular version of proton?
