I just got myself a new MacBook Pro retina today and the first thing I done was install FM14 on it. However it just looks terrible. I've tried changing the resolution in FM and in the settings menu but to no luck. I want to play in windowed mode, which in theory should look fine, but even that looks bad.

It may be difficult to screen shot but lets try.

FM just looks so blurry next to normal text:

Anyone else using a retina MacBook got it looking good?

Yeah. According to the sigames community they know about these issues, and they have been fixed. Only not in time for the latest beta update. You can try to tweak the resolution on the macbook and FM so they match better. I use the 1680x1050 on my macbook which does fix the blurry text and logos. This did however give me new problems, as the FM window won't fill the entire screen. But this will, as mentioned, be fixed when the complete game gets released.

Thanks for the info. Also from your experience with changing resolutions does it effect performance like it says it might?

Not in any noticeable way (for me, atleast). FM is still very responsive, and the 3D matches flow nicely. Personally I just can't stand the lower resolutions, feels like I'm using an ancient computer when everything is so magnified.
