Anyway to appoint staff when a national manager.

I've just taken over the England U21 squad in my Newcastle game to give me an extra challenge. However I'm looking to appoint an assistant but can't figure out how to, that's if its possible. Any way or is it impossible?

I don't you can because you were appointed by the men above you. Any decisions on extra staff would be theirs I think.

You don't have that option if you're the under-21s manager. Or are you playing on an edited database / patch?

You need to be Manager of the First team in order to hire Staff, rest will be assigned to you

I prefer it that way to be honest. I don't really mess about changing the staff, I prefer to spend my time on the actual sqaud, as opposed to hiring and firing staff.
