Applying edited data

Hi all,

I apologise if this is really simple but i'm a bit of a noob

I have opened the FM2013 editor and have applied changes to my favourite team, Tottenham's, transfer and wages (to 1 billion) so how do I apply them to the game? As each time I open a new game it just uses the old budget

Don't worry guys, I realised it could only be applied to normal FM careers as opposed to the classic ones

Is there anyway to edit FM Classic?
