Arsenal Fans Shocked as Wenger Steps down.
Fans of Arsenal football club where both shocked and upset as club legend Arsene Wenger stepped down from the post due to 'Failing Medical Health' in a post-resignation press conference Wenger had this to say:
"In the years I have been here I have tried to develop young talent into superstars, my journey is only partially complete but the stress and late-nights get to an old man like me and for that reason I must step down as manager of the club."
Already much speculation lies in who will be Wenger's replacement. A poll posted 24 hours after Wenger's resignation by the BBC showed these people to be the leading candidates.

Inexperienced Scot, Rhys Nelson Takes Charge at Arsenal
Arsenal fans across the country have been left stunned today as inexperienced Scottish Manager Rhys Nelson has today taken the helm at the Emirates. Roy Hodgson has earlier visisted The Emirates and the deal was thought to be a matter of hours away, but it seems the Arsenal Board are willing to take a huge risk of the Scot, will it pay of?

Craig Gordon - Sunderland - 13m
I may have overspent a little, okay, a lot on Craig but I really wanted him at Arsenal, solid cover for Alumina aswell as capable of working in rotation.

Fernando - Porto - 9m
Again, like with most of my transfers I overspent but once again I really wanted Fernando he is still quite young but will be able to feature in the first team I look forward to his development here.

Sergiy Kryvstov - Dinamo Kiev - 2.5m
The 19 year old centre back was a must buy for me, a lot of our centrebacks are ageing and we need some fresh meat at the back.

Salvador Cabanas - America(MEX) - 6m
With Eduardo injured and RVP my only 100% striker Walcott and Bendter have been fighting for the other striker position, Walcott has speed but Bendter has aerial threat, so i signed a striker that has both, hope he will net a few for me.

Transfers - Out
Jack Wilshere - Derby - Loan
Vito Mannone - Oldham - Loan
Nacer Barazite - Southend - Loan
Gavin Hoyte - Rotherham - Loan
Bacary Sagna - Manchester City - 12.5m
Some people will be upset at this but when city came calling I tried to scare them of with a deal well over the estimated valure of the player, but they matched me and it was too good for me not to accept.
