Arsenal help

Well I just started playing FM and im playing my favorite team, Arsenal. But....this is quite hard, at the start of the season I win pretty much all friendly games but I can barely win any PRM league matches. So my question: is there a tactic/formation that I can do good with with players I start with and what about the young players. I dont know how to manage them so they can become stars in the future, for example I fought off Romelu Lukaku from Real Madrid for like 9 million but hes not really....showing too much potential in my team. ( I found him on this guide I read about talented young players) And really its all so confusing....
 
Its all about the roles and duties you give them mate and you tend to win all your friendlies but the premiereship is quite something else.........try downloading Dan;s Dynamo Tactic it should help
 
Try a 4-5-1 with 3 attacking mids, 2 central mids. Pass short, pump up the creative freedom and let them roam.

Striker should be poacher or advanced forward, use your attacking mids in support roles / inside forwards (esp. RvP) Get cesc to come forward as well. (central mid, attack).

Watch a full game and break it into 15 minute blocks. At the end of each 15 minutes tweak the things you don't think are working. You should be smothering the possession against weaker teams. and getting shots on. Make sure your fullbacks are supporting the attack as well. Stack this up with good team talks (I believe they're an ambitious squad, so expect alot from them) Check out wolfsburg's team talks thread for more info. It's priceless.

Against better teams, be more wary. Slower pace, fullbacks more conservative.

Just watch and learn. Be prepared to lose while you learn.
