Arsène Wenger has left the driving
seat at Arsenal after 18 years.
Arsène Wenger has walked from one of the most acclaimed names in English football. Admitting the last 10 years of his career has gone from one of the greatest moments of his life, but had dropped incredibly, revealing that he endured quite a bit of stress on the way.
"Winning the FA cup last season was brilliant, I felt like my old self again, but that's when I believed my time was up. I left the club in a better position than 2-3 years ago, and we had ended the 9 years of dismay." said Wenger in his press conference.
"With the signings of Mathieu (Debuchy), Alexis (Sánchez), and David (Ospina) on their way, I feel like I have left the squad in good harmony, and a great position to be a force next season. I have spoken to the players, and they all trust that I have made the right decision and I wish them the best of luck with their new manager, whom I have requested to take the reins."
