WHY ARSENAL
Arsenal are a club I've supported for the majority of my life. My dad is a Gooner and he was fortunate enough to have seen Arsenal go a season unbeaten. I have no memory whatsoever. I have lived in London all my life and it's only fitting I support a London club. I had a few dark years supporting Chelsea as it was the trend in school before returning to my roots. Often criticised for their lack of trophies since 2005, Arsenal have lost ground in their quest to become the best team in the world. Arsenal came close to winning the UEFA Champions League in 2006 before two late goals cruelly snatched any possible chance of glory. I want to bring back the glory days Arsenal had in the 90s and early 00s. With club legend Arsene Wenger at the helm, Arsenal won three Premier League titles, a handful of FA Cups and Community Shields.

WHO AM I?

I will be playing as Arsene Wenger. Often scrutinized for the lack of trophies since 2005, Wenger's position has been the topic of debate. However, Wenger's desire for trophies has sharpened his managerial skills.

Wenger: We can win the title.

Arsene Wenger has stated that his Arsenal side can win the Premier League title. Wenger spoke to a Sun Sport reporter and told him; "Our team can win the Premier League, plain and simple. The team have a close bond, we are not losing key players this season and we will not sell our best anymore. The club are in a healthy financial position so we can sign top players if we pleased. We've brought in Mathieu Flamini, Yaya Sanogo and Mezut Ozil, three quality players. I feel Yaya Sanogo is more likely to be loaned out before joinng the first team whereas Mathieu and Mezut are two quality midfielders who are both unique. Mezut can't stop assisting and Mathieu is a spearhead of a midfielder." When asked about future transfer targets, Wenger confirmed he would continue to add to the squad. "Yes, we will be making a few more signings. I can't say too much but I can confirm Arsenal are still in the market." Arsenal have been heavily linked with Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic and Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic.

Nice idea.

Will you massively invest in french and/or young players so did Arsene in the past ? (best team when Vieira, Petit, Wiltord, Pires, Henry played for arsenal).

I also noted than even with a bunch of young players, Arsene always had a favorite such as Henry or Fabregas. Who will be yours ?

Arsenal sign Morgan Schneiderlin
Midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has signed a five-year contract.
The 23 year old who cost Arsenal 11.5 million is tied to the club until the summer of 2018.
"To sign for a club like Arsenal is a dream. The team play in the Champions League every year. The club are the only invincible team in modern history. To say that I am an Arsenal player is amazing. This club have big ambitions and so do I. As a player, I couldn't decline the chance to play for a club of this stature. It was a tough decision to leave Southampton but I feel this is the right move. Southampton have signed Victor Wanyama who will shine for the club which gives me peace of mind that the club will not suffer. Southampton are an excellent team and the club have been great to me and I wish them every success in their quest for European football." Schneiderlin is Arsenal's fourth signing of the season after the Gunners signed fellow Frenchmen Mathieu Flamini and Yaya Sanogo on free transfers and German Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid for 42.5 million pounds.
