I searched around and all I could find was 'Crashes' So were we have it. A thread on Ashes to Ashes, the spin-off to Life on Mars, the final series started last friday and the papers are saying the ending to Ashes to Ashes is pure genius. You find out what happened to Sam Tyler, I think it's all apart of Gene Hunt's coma to be honest.

Any other opinions? <)

Watched the finale yesterday.

It was actually pretty decent, and think I will get hold of Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes and give them both a watch through (despite knowing the ending).

Pretty good stuff. Anyone else watch?
 
i have watched them all but i really didnt understand the ending it was all a bit wierd
 
Yeah i Watched it mate i came in half way through and the time was always on 09:06 lol
 
I didn'y have a clue what was going on, but I enjoyed it (H)
 
From what my aching brain understood that Alex, Ray, Shaz and Chris were all coppers who have died / nearly died at ended up in between Heaven and **** (Purgatory I think it's called). When Jim tried making Ray, Shaz and Chris go into the elevator I guess that was going to "****". At the end when they entered the pub that was "heaven". Well that's what I think tbh and I still don't understand why Alex always wears red heels, and I hate the fact they destroyed the Quattro :'(
 
The Quatro has gone to auction and its selling pretty soon lol
 
i thought it was a pretty naff ending to be honest. it was all so wierd.

Yeh that's pretty much it...and that link you posted pretty much sums up the whole thing as well.


Just hoping the Lost ending on Sunday night ain't exactly the same <)
