I'm in my 3rd season as Newcastle manager and was offered the job as the England under 20's coach. So I took it. Only problem is, I can't see where to choose my assistant manager.

Is this possible and I'm being blind, or is it just left to me to do everything?

dont think you can have one at U/20 level mate, only as National manager (1st team)

That's a bit of annoyance, I never know which of the opposition players to mark tightly/close down and such like. Normally leave it to my assistant to sort out.

Yep sorry. There is no way to hire an assistant manager to give you team reports etc. Obviously you can ask other England staff members to pick the team for you if you need help in that respect

when you are the 1st team National Manager, you of course appoint staff like yourself (now) you cannot hire coaches/physio's/fitness coaches etc.. only the National manager can!

learn to take time and do it yourself, I only trust my Assistant manager to do this if his Tactical knowledge is over 18 anyway..

Fair enough, I don't know much about the under 20's so was hoping for a bit of help. It is handy for me while wearing my Newcastle hat as I can keep an eye on the younger players to sign :D
