Assistant Manager Usage?

Hey,

I just hired the highy rated Pat Rice as my assistant manager at Man City, but I want to get my moneys worth out of him.

At the moment I use him for advice during games (closing down, going in hard on certain players etc...), pre match meetings, and small other things, what major usage of the assistant manager am I missing out? what is vital?

Assistant Managers are a key part of what i do on FM. Sometimes i'm clueless on who to play over who. So i just ask my assistant to give me advice. Also team-talks are a good thing to have with your assistant.

I put my *** man as the under 18's manager and give him total control over them I also let him aragne my friendlys as im lazy like that but other than that I control everything.
