Hi guys. I've started a story before with Sunderland but couldn't go through with it because my PC broke down. Anyway I've got a new laptop now and am ready to start a new one :D.

7th Of July 2009 - Alger Takes Over.
Callum Alger has been appointed new Aston Villa after former boss Martin O'Neill was sacked after insulting the owner Randy Lerner through Facebook. There has been claims by O'Neill that it was an imposter on his account but the owner had this to say "Well he says an imposters been on his account? Al right, I will believe that when pigs can fly!

I am only making like 2 signing's and Di Maria is not one of them. Thanks for the tip though and hope you follow :)

I did a villa story, but then got bored of the story, still going in 2011 i love palying with them on fm :)

yeah i will, you start with a good enough squad to meet your expectations anyway

15th July 2009 - First Signing.

Ruben Baraja has completed his 900k switch to Villa Park today, The manager had this to say "I'm delighted we have been able to sign Ruben. He is a wonderful player and will provide some defensive mentality in the middle of the park, just what I think this team needs to progress in this league and become title contenders"

1st August 2009 - Fernando Gago.

Recently hired Aston Villa boss Callum Alger has made his second signing of the summer window by bringing in Fernando Gago on loan from Real Madrid for a loan fee of around 750k.
"I am delighted that i have signed Fernando. He will be a great boost for us as he knows what it is like to play at the top level of football and play against some of the best teams in the world

8th August 2009 - Lacina Traore.

New Aston Villa boss has once again put his hand into his pocket and signed Ivory Coast striker Lacina Traore from CFR Cluj for 3M Pounds. "It is most likely that Lacina will be my last signing of the transfer window. He is a big striker and has the potential to be a top striker in this league. Villa is lucky to have a striker of quality like Carew and Gabby and now we have even more quality for the future in Lacina and im glad he turned down some top clubs in europe to sign for us"

August Update - 3 Games.

Aston Villa 1-1 Sunderland

Agbonlahor - 1

A good result I suppose but we should have beaten them here. Had all the chances just couldn't convert them. They got a man sent off and in the end they got the draw by a penalty in the last minutes

Europa League

Aston Villa 4-0 Genk

Agbonlahor - 2
Reo-Coker - 1
Milner - 1

Great result. Decided to play a strong team just to make sure we had a easy ride getting through to the group stages.

Aston Villa 5-1 Genk

Ashley Young - 1
James Milner - 2
Fernando Gago - 1
John Carew - 1

Another great result again just to put my side easily through to the group stages.

Player Of The Month - James Milner - Avg Rating : 8.10

Top Scorer - Agbonlahor - Goals : 3

Top Assists - Ashley Young - 4

For those who are MAYBE following. Not updating again today because i'm gonna be playing my PS3 :P

Not a tactic I've seen before, but certainly looks odd XD

Good luck, I shall check back regularly.

Thanks Mike im also following your story :P

Hi guys, Just a quick update because my nephew is coming down so cant get the whole of September done

Everton 2-1 Aston Villa

Agbonlahor

Well we came up against a strong side and performed well in the first half but got totally outclassed in the second half, expected to get a draw at goodison and was gutted about the result. Maybe should have played carew instead of going for a pacey up front with Gabby and Delfounso.

Stoke 2-5 Aston Villa

Traore - 2
Agbonlahor - 1
Milner - 1
Delfounso - 1

Well absolutely fantastic result, totally outclassed stoke from start to finish. both there goals were dead ball situations and if they didint get those free kicks i would have been reporting a 5-0 thrashing

Aston Villa 1-0 Bolton

Young

Well kind of expected a better scoreline here but a win is a win. Bolton played well and probably could have got a goal in that second half but thanks to Ashley Young my team leave Villa Park with a 1-0 victory

Screenshots are being weird and will post some later :D
