i finnaly got football manager 2010 for xmas and im making my first fm2010 story with aston villa. my aim for first season is to get atleast a europa league finish and get to atlast the semis in the cups :)

villa name new manager

today aston villa have revealed unknown george fenech as the clubs new manager today. he has no experience but hopes to do well at the club. when asked about becoming villa he had this to say:

i am really happy to become manager of a very good club and i hope to do well and also sign a few good players in the transfer window.
 
good luck mate, tip for you sell Luke Young, Heskey, Shorey, Harewood and Craig Gardner to get transfer funds :) i got 7.5mill for Young, 5mill each for Heskey, Shorey and Gardner and 2mill for Harewood :) also i think europa league is a bit pessimistic should be looking at top 4 there pal!
 
i had 3 mil to start of with mate but i adjusted budgets and have sold a few players so got 20 mil and ive already signed beckham for free he will come in jan and fernando gago on loan and also i might sign david wheater yh ive heard hs pretty good on fm and im looking at ronaldo :)

ive sold heskey for 5.5 mil :) and hareword for 1.2mil i think and im gunna sell all the players uve told me too mate thanks for the advice and also im not a very good manager on fm so i dont think i will be getting top 4 in first season lol
 
yep im definately keeping him after seeing him play brilliant in a pre seaosn game and scoring and i might consider loaning him out

If you sell Young i'd get a new right back, either Rafinha, Diego Renan or Srna? You might want to look at signing Dzeko to bolster your attack if you've sold Heskey and Harewood? Can normally get Dzeko for around £20mill and will be able to afford it if you do it over 48monthly installments? You can also pick up Fernando Gago from Real Madrid on the transfer list for about £6million

yep dzeko i signed for 21 mil mate just before i read wat u wrote lol :) and i signed gago on loan for the seaosn

imo, gago should have been signed on a permanent basis cos real madrid is a **** and they remove gago's transfer listed status the moment he's out on loan and no matter how much i offered, gago doesnt want to sign the contract and then he left at the end of the season, and real madrid put him on the transfer list again and he opted to join liverpool on a permanent basis. i was playing as spurs btw:@
