3-0

Young, Petrov and Delfouneso

I hope Burnley, can win this, or even draw, that way Villa, won't go above us. :)

Can see Villa resting some players here for the cup final, so Burnley might sneak a draw.

Burnley's away record: Played 13, Lost 12, Drawn 1, Conceded 38.

Teams:

Aston Villa: Friedel, Cuellar, Dunne, Collins, Warnock, Ashley Young, Milner, Petrov, Downing, Agbonlahor, Heskey.
Subs: Guzan, Luke Young, Sidwell, Carew, Delfouneso, Delph, Beye.

Burnley: Jensen, Mears, Carlisle, Cort, Fox, Eagles, Cork, Bikey, McDonald, Nugent, Fletcher.
Subs: Weaver, Duff, Paterson, Elliott, Blake, Nimani N'galou, Thompson.

Referee: Stuart Attwell (Warwickshire)

They were never going to rest players with the Carling Cup a full week away.

5-1 - A rout.
All they need is Milner to score to complete the English scoring trend.
Young, Downing(2), Heskey, Gabby.

True, but i was thinking more of a goal for each Englishman in the attacking quintet.

You were nearly right with your prediction ;)

Not to be too pedantic but Milner would have made 5 English scorers, maybe quintet would be more apt.

Burnley played really well, but in 12 minutes we scored 4 so not many teams are going to recover from that, great game to watch though and credit to Burnley.
