Si just finished 1st season finished 10th i was 4th till January when i went on a 11 game run with out a win but managed to win 5 out of last 7 games to finish 10th may transfers 1st season View attachment 373400 Players that need to go Hutton Given Tonev Stevens Gary Gardner Kozak El Hamdi and i have Ignojski coming in on a free and Mcginn Grealish and Carvilho coming back from loan so they can replace a few but i need a back up GK back up RB and Winger now to my big decision would you sell Benteke? he only scored 11 or so goals last season and Weimann did okay when he played upfront and Helenius and Vydra did decent feed back would be nice cheers
 
Swansea Burnley and Stoke got relegated aswell forgot to add.
 
I finished 3rd with Villa first season, and signed Zdravko Kuzmanovic and Takashi Inui in my Second season, and this is the formation that i've played all of the way through.

This is how i've played Benteke, as a F9. While it may seem strange, it works. He runs from deep to get onto crosses, and this is his record:

I've rejected 30 million pound offers from more than 5 clubs for him. He's only going to get better, so unless you have to, i wouldn't sell. And he's so much better in a 2 striker formation, in my experience anyway.
 
Liverpool just offered ?15m for Benteke rejected it.
I need a Left back a winger and a right back
my Centre Mids are Barry Sidwell Westwood Delph Sylla Bacuna i think thats okay or wold you sell and replace? i have McGinn Carvalho on way back from loan?

It depends what formation you play I would think that you need 5 or 6 midfielders. I'd sell Barry and Sidwell personally, as they're both aging. With Bacuna, i'd suggest playing him MR or AMR, his stats in my first season playing AMR are:

For a right back i'd look at John Stones or Kieran Trippier personally. I've personally kept Lowton (8.15 tackles per game last season, best in the league by more than 1) who played every game except for when he was injured, and Hutton as a very solid back up.
For left back, you could look at Ryan Bertrand, however Luna played 36 league games for me last season (7.14 tackles per game) so i've decided that he's not very injury prone, so i only have Ciaran Clark and Joe Bennett for cover.
Take a good look at Dusan Tadic. I had a bid accepted for 6.5 million pounds, however during negotiations he signed a new contract with FC Twente, so they were asking for 20 million. Also Tom Ince should be available on a free.

Nice idea on buying Taylor, might have to look at him myself. I have the same problem with Given, haven't played him league or cup yet. Always have Jed Steer for cup games, and Guzan has played every league game so far. i wouldn't accept until ?35 for Benteke personally, i think you could get that.
