At my wits end with 2010..help

I am 34 years old and I have played every verison of football manager and chapman before the name change. I have enjoyed playing and winning on previous stay up all night instead of doing assignments , but 2010 is doing my head in.

I have made my own tactics that work for about 4 or 5 games, downloaded tactics which again work in pre season but come the start of the season i`m doing below avarage at best.

I have been my beloved sheff utd, newcastle, man utd, City. Even listen to my assistant changing from 442 to 451 etc, but i cannot get a run together, I know you get funny results that happen in the real game like hull winning at spurs and villa at manu etc and I dont expect win every game but just alittle enjoyment.

So my question in there anyone willing to help me in anyway

I find consistency is important. Don't change tactics every few matches and wherever possible play the same team week in week out

kingeric is right there, have you read tactical theorems? its availble to download on the site if yu haven't already.
