Basically, FM12 is my first FM. I've had past experience on Fifa Manager since 06 so I have got a good understanding of football manager games and the swith to FM from Fifa Manager was fairly straight forward. I've had a few good saves with Porto, Norwich and Crystal Palace but i've got bored of them now and want a new challenge.
After seeing Athletic Bilbao completely outplay Manchester United recently, I wanted to see what I could do with them. I've started a new save with them and i've set my season expectations to a top half finish. I feel this is easily attainable but I didn't want to push the boat out too early on in my reign. I've got a transfer budget of £2.92m and a wage budget of £400k p/w giving me an extra £72k p/w or so. It's not the best of budgets, especially with some key positions looking fairly weak in the team report.
I've never ventured in to the Liga BBVA before so I don't really know what tactics to use or who to buy in this league. I have a very vague idea of how I would like to play, Llorente up top on his own with Muniain just behind him. But apart from that I have no clue what to do. On the team report the DCs, DL, MR and ML positons look very weak and is something I would like to improve upon.
So what I'm asking from you is:

- Who should I buy at DC, DL, MR and ML?
- And what tactics would suit Athletic best?

3rd season bought other Basque players like Stephane Ruffier (French Basque) and Naxto Monreal and we finished 1st and semi finals of champions league with a final win of copa del rey. It is the most fun save ive ever done.
