Athletico Madrid Advice

I've been there manager for 3 seasons now, well coming to the end of the 3rd now, sitting in 3rd. Four points off the top. I have my own tactic I created and its 4-2-3-1, I've got a decent enough team I think as I've won the title the last two seasons. My problem is I always struggle against Real and Barca, I get beat most of the time when it matters. The team is as follows

Asenjo (GK), Fabio (LB) Godin (CB) Dominguez / Munesia (CB) Vsraljko (RB) Hamsik (CM) Jones (CM) Reyes (LW) Costa / Tiago (ACM) Turan / Kagawa (RM) Pato / Falco (CF)

I know that I need a DCM someone to break up play and also a new GK but he's 3.5 stars.

Any advice welcome

You will lose to them the majority of the time, even when they play a **** team they still seem to win, it's like they play well because of who they are if you get my drift and now because of how good they are.

Asenjo is a great keeper, loved him on FM11, for the DCM you could try someone like, Lucas, not sure if he'd leave Liverpool though but he is amazing..you could also try someone like Fellaini or Carrick.

a complete gk(reasonable pa but well distributed attributes) is yann sommer(punching, rushing out, handling, reflexes, command of the area). also try ter stegen(monchengladbach), but you should train his positionating. as for the dmc, fernando from porto is a monster

Right, I finished 3rd but managed to scrap the champs league on pens in my 3rd season. As of now I've got Vidal to win the ball and give to the attacking players and Ter Stegen, I'm going to bring in Dos Santos for RW, Ive got rid off Kagawa coz I think he's pants, get him for free then make 15-20mill on him. Jones can go back to CB and I'd say I was set for the season. What does anyone else think?
