As you may be aware, i had a Wolfsburg story. I tried to load up the game earlier, and it responded with 'unable to load game'. Pretty annoyed as i didn't have a back up for the save. So just to get things straight, i am not just making stories for the sake of it, and i do stick to them. Its just there was nothing i can do and i am sure i will make two copies of this save, and i will save regulary, thanks.

Atletico Madrid have a decent history having a total of twenty two competions wins. The club finished runners up of the champions league in 1974. They have won the spanish top division nine times and also finished runners up on eight occasions. Also, Atletico Madrid won the Cup Winners Cup in 1962 and also finished runners up on two occasions. Lastly, they won the Intercontinental cup in 1974. Anyway, enough of history.

I have told the club that i can challenge for the title.

Hmmm, Champions league best placed play off has been drawn. A very tough game indeed. I have been drawn Arsenal. Home leg on the 19th August and the away leg on the 26th. Players have to play extremely well to be able to progress here. Wish me luck.

Arsenal are certainly beatable, but I do agree, you need a hefty amount of luck, no injuries to key players etc. But you have a good squad so I hope the best for you

An extremely pleasing pre-season scoring 34 goals and condeding just 1. After being drawn Arsenal, we hoped to take the form which had had to carry us through the two Arsenal games..

A wonderfull signing. 23M may be alot of money, but I'm sure the lad will repay every penny with the amount of goals he will score.


Champions league best placed play off leg 1: Atletico Madrid 2-0 Arsenal

Absolutely delighted with this result. Thought we could've nicked a winner but never of thought we would dominate the game like we did and beat them by 2 goals. Diego Forlan getting both goals.

Champions league best placed play off leg 2: Arsenal 1-0 Atletico Madrid

Even though we lost, im still happy as we progress through to the group stages. A late goal for Nicklas Bendtner proved just a consolation goal.

Espanyol 2-2 Atletico Madrid

Dissapointed in this result as we conceded 2 goals in the last 10 minutes. But hey ho, thats football. Also, the players were very tired after having a 2 day rest from the Arsenal game. Edin Dzeko grabs both goals.

ac milan is not that determined u have a young squad.. i beat them in the 2nd knockout stage!! using atleti too of coz lost the first leg but fked em up the *** in the 2nd leg.. FORZA ATLETI!!
