Hey,

I'm very noob at FM14 and I was asking myself: If you play with a team in the fourth division of England and you sign a player with like 16 finishing, is his finishing the same as someone in the premier league with 16 finishing?

Yes it is. Attributes are absolute, ie not relative to the league you're playing.

Well I actually find it quite strange you can sign someone with like 16 finishing even though you play in a very low league, or players have very high stats but play in a low league

Finishing isn't the only thing that matters when considering how good a player is at putting away chances. There's also the need to have good attributes to be able to get into the right positions to finish chances. There are also hidden attributes for consistency, pressure and important matches.

It's never as simple as it seems
