Ok so im working on my 4-3-3 tactic which is currently keeping my defence playing extremely well keeping a fair few clean sheets and rarely conceding. Unfortunatly the down side I currently have is my lack of goals im scoring especially when C. Benitez isnt playing.

My team currently looks like this from the Midfield:

DM: Nigel De Jong/Gilberto Silva (DM: Def)
MCL: McDonald Mariga/ Vadim Demidov (Ball Winning Midfielder: Support)
MCR: Dario Conca/ Thiago (Barcelona Youth) (Adv Play: Attack)
AML:Antoine Griezmann/ Diego Castro (Inside Forward: Attack)
AMR: Xabi Prieto/ Paco Sutil (Winger: Attack)
ST: C.Benitez/Borja Baston/Joesba Llorente (Poacher : Attack/Targetman: Attack)

My team instructions are:

I'm also contemplating moveing my Playmaker up to AMC to create a 4-2-3-1 to help bang in the goals. Any help would be brilliant =]

Clearly your striker role is completely wrong, set your player a Deep-Lying Forward (Support) as on his current duty he is becoming isolated upfront, the new role will enable him to drop back and link up with the midfield, btw a Target-Man does not do well alone upfront

So, This should work for all three of my strikers then? thanks btw =]

Maybe set your fullbacks to wing back/attack duty to provide more width , or set one of your CM (probably your playmaker) to run from deep often so he can give support to your striker and wingers. Set all of your wingers to inside foward-attack so they can be more threatening to the opposition together with your poacher. I suggest play wider so you can create more chances.

I don't get it why poacher is wrong as lone striker. If he has the right attributes and enough support from your inside forwards and playmaker, he will score a lot

play Conca in his natural position! he will create oppurtunities for himself as well as your forwards..

you need to invest in a new Striker mate, you have a great defence but you lack quality upfront, use your money and invest in a goal scorer... have Conca as Adv Playmaker and a player like:

Nilmar - Villareal
Welliton - Spartak Moscow
Rafael Sobis - Internacional
Guilherme - Dinamo Kiev
Mounir El Hamdoui - Ajax
Dentinho - Corinthians
Thiago Ribeiro - Cruzeiro
Robert Acquafresca - Genoa
Garra Dembele - Levski
Ezequiel Lavezzi - Napoli
Javier Saviola - Benfica
Andre - Dynamo Kyiv
Diego Mauricio - Flamengo
Rogelio Funes Mori - River
Marco Perez - Chico Fc
Jan Chramosta - Mladla Bolesav
Seydou Doumbia - CSKA
Vinicius - Palmeiras
Peniel Mlapa - Hoffenheim
Tiago Alves - Santos
Sergio Aruajo - Boca
Vagner Love - CSKA
Diego Costa - Atletico
Adrian - old Deportivo player
Iker Munian - Athletic (if you can afford him)
Roberto Soldado - Valencia

have these guys as your Poachers making runs all over the place waiting for Conca to slip a pass into...

Thanks for your help guys, I want to get the most out of my players by playing them in their natural positions, unfortunately if i push up De Jong into the MC position hes not a natural at it. So forgive me if this is a stupid idea could this formation work?

Also there is my setting for my playmaker.

Nothing wrong with that formation, just make sure De Jong has enough closing down, so that Mariga doesn't defend against 2 midfielders on his own while De Jong lies too deep.

For your advanced playmaker, I would make him to run from deep sometimes, if often he will be going forward too much, and not being available for pass, which is the job of an advanced playmaker, look for easy pass, deliver it forward to wingers/strikers. Same thing with run with ball, altough if he has high dribbling then it is okay. Maybe also roaming?
