I'm doing a random experiment, because I must have too much time on my hands not lead an interesting life ? haha anyway here is what I'm going to do.

Meet Brilliant Idiot we will call him Idiot for short.

About him - He is a 17 year old footballer, who can play naturally in all midfield and attacking positions, Technical and Physical, he is the perfect player.
He starts off with a CA of 170 (already world class) and a PA of 200.
BUT, his mental and hidden stats are awful, thus making him a complete tool.
He has the lowest stats possible for things like loyalty, team work, ambition, work rate. And the highest stat possible for Dirtiness, controversy. So his attitude stinks, he has a worse attitude than Joey Barton but better ability than Messi and Ronaldo put to togther.
How do you think his career will span out ? sucess or Failure ?

On The Flip side let me introduce you to

Great Attitude, call him Great for short.

About Him - He is a footballer with decent skills and of course a great attitude to life and the game. A CA of 100 and PA of 145 suggests he can be a decent/good premiership player if he reaches his potential.
He has perfect stats for Team Work, Work rate, Ambition and Loyality.
But Tecincal and Physical stats are Average at best.
So in a way the complete opposite to Idiot.

Who will have the most successfull career ?
I will post a season by season update on the players.

What will we gain out this, meh dont no but here you are /

Oh I forgot to add, also out of interest, I put AFC Liverpool in the Blue Square North, gave them 1B bank balance, but nothing else, there players still suck and they still have no reputation, so the logic behind that is to see weather cash alone can buy a team up from the Blue Sqaure to the Premiership

I think purely on skill alone Idiot will have the better go at it, but then again that depends also on his anticipation and decisions as well so if those are also really low then the Great Attitude will probably take the cake.

But my guess is Idiot wins it. Keep us posted.

i'm with him. idiot will triumph but probably miss some games because he was at a nightclub the day before. he might move clubs a bit if his managers get fed up with him.

great will probably get good ratings for trying hard and have a pretty steady career.

what clubs are they starting at also screenshots would be nice.
should be interesting.

surely this happens in real life. great is phil neville while idiot is maradona and best(he wasn't a major ***** but would probably score quite low on most mental stats

I think they will both end out the same at decent clubs but not world class. More UEFA Cup teams that Champions League. In real life there are alot of player with great skills and ability but end up journeymen because of theyre attitude Idiot will prob be one of them.

Okay first update,

2008/2009

They both started with no clubs, and were free agents waiting to be signed.

Great - signed by QPR
Idiot - signed by Man City

First Season Summary (Idiot)

Played 14
Scored 1

Not bad for a 16 year old, 14 premiership games, but all season long he moaned about First Team Football, and Elano and ball, and Richards, and Ireland took a dislike to him. Despite this city did not sell him. Man City played him mostly at RM probably because of his great pace.

My Thoughts

Again not bad for a 16 year old 18 stats at championship level, he caught the eye of teams like Stoke, Sheff Utd,Reading,Fulham and Hull. QPR played him mostly in CM guarding the back four.

So both of them had okay first seasons for there age, got a bit of experience to progress as a player.

AFC Liverpool got relegated finishing rock bottom, they didnt signed a single player, ???? they have 1Bill in the bank lol

2009/2010

Idiot - Styed with City
Great - Signed by wolves for 775k

Season Summary (Idiot)

Season started with yet more fueds, he took a disliking to Dario Srna, and Zhirkov (two new signings he decided he did not like) He never got picked and spent his days complaing and playing in reserve and youth games for Man City, he got 1 start all season with a 5.30 rating.

Season Summary (Great)

Newly arrived at Wolves in the Championship still. He played a whopping 42 games, so he was a first team regular, he scored 2 goals and again spend most his time in CM or DM positions.

Well so far, even though he plays in the Championship, great appears to have had a better start to his career.

A few screenies, 2010/2011 coming soon

the uploader taking ages to upload screenshots, will try again later

i think the idiot is gonna win tbh by the looks of it well with bigger clubs and that

I'd rather be at Wolves playing 42 games a season than sitting playing with my banger in Man City reserves. Life's more fulfilling playing football.

a Great idea Hig. I am enjoying how it's turning out, lol at the AFC Liverpool idea. Hopefully they will bounce back.

keep us updated

2010/2011

Idiot - Stayed at Man City
Great - Signed by Stoke for 2.6 million

Season Summary Idiot

god this guy is an *******, Mam City hate him, only 3 senior games all season, the rest were all reserve games. Although in those 3 games he got an average rating of 7.27, but that didnt seem to be good enough for Man City to want to play him any more.
He did not get offered a contract in may, so Celtic snapped him up on a free.

Season Summary Great

He's at his 3rd club in 3 years, but he's settled into every club he been at, just got bought by a bigger club each time, now he's with Stoke finally in the Premiership.
And holding down a first team becoming one of there better players, although stoke see him as a forward, despite he don't score very often. Still he played well and got lots of assists.

2011/2012

Idiot - Signed by Chelsea as a free agent
Great - Stayed with stoke who got relegated to the championship

Season Summary Idiot (Aged 20 now)

He seemed a little more liked at Celtic, staying in the first team, used often as a sub but got 14 appearances and he didn't complain to the media once this year.

Played 14

Season Summary Great (aged 20 now)

Another year at stoke, but he's back in the championship, but stays with them to help them get back to the prem, what a guy. He played in 39 games in nearly every outfield position, scoring 5 goals assisting 7. Possibly his best season yet

Played 39
Scored 5

Note : I have noticed that Idiot Stats have dropped a fair bit, while Greats have increased, this must be down to the mental stats of Idiot not being interested to work hard and train, and great being the opposite. Skill wise now there a similar quality player

2012/2013

Idiot - Stayed with Celtic
Great - Stayed with Stoke (promoted back to Premiership)

Season Summary Idiot

Again, he seemed to like Celtic, and they..........well tolerated him playing him about half the league games, but starting most, he had a basty hamstring injury otherwise he might of started more games. After his injury he never got played for about 3 games, so he complained to the media, thats out idiot lol

Played 23
Scored 3

Season Summary Great

Great helped stoke back in the premiership, and this season he was ever present, a vital part of stokes team. An average Rating of 7.00 he was one of the better perfomers in the whole leaague this season. Caught the eye of many clubs including, Parma,FC Porto,Lille,Rangers,Tottenham, Blackburn,Man City and Everton.

AFC Liverpool appered back in the Blue Sqaure north this year and won it, gaing promotion to the BSP, they spent 675k (thats a lot for Blue sqaure) on 8 players to get to BSP.

i think i underestimated how much of an ******* idiot is. great to have a better career especially since they now have similar stats.

good work.

Haha I guess nobody predicted the enormous drop in stats?

haha when i read the idiot story i just think Joey Barton

Idiot jibbed Training for Celtic for the first time this year, he is complete tool

lol but you did make him this way, anyway great will have a better career because he has a dedicated attitude, idiot will have a downward spiralling career and probably retire early

Idiot is a complete ****** by the sounds of it i think i would well rather have someone like great in my squad.

Lmao that sort of money could buy you 10 entire BSN clubs :D

Wonder why they didn't sign anyone first season? Might have been a low reputation thing but even so you'd have thought they'd have picked up some freebies who needed a club. What sort of standard player have they bought? Barely good enough for BSP or good enough to get them up to League 2 in a season or two?

An elderly Lee Trundle lol, he retied and is now there manager, and a few players that have had football league experience.
