Away day tactics

Hi,
I'm new to FM 09 and have just started a game with Spurs. I've had a pretty average season and it looks like i should finish about 8th, however, my away form has been terrible (9 points from 18 games), compared to my home form (43 points from 16 games).

I've played the old fm games and never found i had to change my tactics away from home before, however, it looks like you need to for fm 09. If anyone has got any useful formations or tips for playing away from home then they would be much apreciated.

I tend to play the same both home and away, I might just set my mentality to ultra defensive if I'm playing Man Utd At old trafford, or a near im possible away game like that.
Other that I dont really have a different tactic for home or away and I'm getting some success.

I tend to either play the say tatic and like TheHig tone down the attacking to a more defensive mentality and deeper line or change to a 4-5-1 formation, with a DM but keeping the wingers pushed forward and drop the them deep to hold onto a lead.
