i would really appreciate if any1 could give me some sort of ideas on how to win away matches cus its just doing my head in at the minute..at home i look like world beaters and i win just about any match but when i play away from home i struggle against the worst teams in the division....any help will be really appreciated...thanks!

What isn't working in your tactics when you play away from home? Without knowing that, at best all you'll get is general truisms such as play a little more defensively, try to control possession or hit the opposition on the break while playing defensively.

Any ideas from watching a full match what doesn't seem to be working?

its mainly my passing, finishing and possession play which is terrible, i have tried to tinker with the tactics over and over again and yet no luck, the best i do is a draw then an occasional win, at times it almost feels like the game is fixed for me to loose against a lesser side just to make a headline...i hope this explains a bit more what i mean.

ah i hate away games recently in my net game it took sheffield wednesday to go down to 10 men before i could score twice in the second half.

Play more of a slower, defensive game away from home. Sort of like the Italian national side, look to slow the pace, grab a goal somewhere, and then defend it. Try a 4-1-3-1-1 formation:

GK

DR DC DC DL

DMC

CM CM CM

AMC

FS(fast striker)

Team setup
Mentality - Defensive
Passing Style - Long
Creative Freedom - Low
Defensive line - Deep
Counter Attack ticked

Give the AM high creative freedom, with high attacking mentality. Striker, high attacking mentality.

try puttin in DM and lone striker. and a slow placed tempo.

away from home i play counter attacking i have got good results from it like 3-0 over man united

Try slowing the tempo just a bit (it's very sensitive, so do it only a click or two at a time) and increasing time wasting (again just a bit).

After a terrible run of results, your players will be short of confidence - so try to focus on positive teamtalks which will rebuild morale.
