B teams

I'm starting a new save as a really small Spanish club (reputation in the 1,000s) and it only has it's main squad and an under 19 side.

I was wondering, in the future if I grow the club and am successful, will I be able to get a B team?

You're out of luck there, mate.
If you don't start with a B-team it means that it's either in too low of a division to be available, or that there simply isn't any.

If you're not dead-set on a specific team, I know there's a number of clubs even at tier 5 and 6 with a playable B-team (in the right database), so you might want to pick one of those teams.
I not too long ago started a save with Extremadura, which was quite fun, and the B-squad was only one division lower.

So your saying your board can't give you a B team down the road?

I chose Monteneros (for obvious reasons) but they lack a B team, which I think would come in handy when I go up a league or two.

Pretty much.
If you don't start with a B-team, you'll never get one.

The best you can hope for is to get a feeder club and treat it as a B-Team.
Unless off course you want to edit in your own B-squad, but then you have to start a new save.

Sad, but true, I still have the same problem in my Bayreuth save (and story) - no B-team for 9 years now, and my squad is usually between 18-22 players maximum - any more and they just get ****** at not playing enough. It sucks, sure, but it can be done.
