This thread is for when a player is getting on a bit in age or is just not cutting it and you either want to show who you have replaced him with or want to get an opinion on whom you should replace your current player with.



I am playing my Chelsea game at the moment purely for this reason, lining up replacements for the ageing players.

To replace Drogba I have lined up Andy Carroll ( In my data-base I have changed some players to mirror their real life displays.Carroll cost 13m. Since Drogba will definitely do me for another season or 2 I have set the transfer to come through for the end of the season,

I have also taken Lukaku on loan to see if he would be up for the task, with an option of buying him for 5m.

To Replace Malouda I brought in Coentrao of Benfica. He cost 7.5m.
Depending on how he develops, he could turn out to be a great replacement for ashley cole either.

To replace Lampard I brought in Paulo Henrique of Santos. I think if I can bring his finishing up close to lampard standard I'm onto a winner with him.

Another player I've taken on loan to check out is Zakaria Labyad of PSV. I'm lining him up for Essien, he's just 17 so there's pleanty of time to mould him into that sort of player. Although I might just do that with Josh McEachran.
