Hi!
I currently play in the Championship with Southampton. It's my first season in the Championship. I'm currently placed 2nd and the season is coming to an end. But is it smart to Promote back to back? Won't my club suffer from growing-aches? I could lose my last games and just play play-off? What would you guys do? Just go to Premiership? Or stay in Championship?

Get promoted give yourself a challenge! Plus your club will grow from the financial benefits that the premier league has to offer!

Go Prem. More money, just don't be stupid and spend it all if you can't stay there for at least 2 years consecutively.

Why would you even want to not promote ? The prize money in the next higher league, even at low ranks in the table would be much higher than what you can get in the current league. In Germany it's like 6m € for finishing 1st in 2nd division and around 15m for finishing last in 1st division. I can't say for england but after what I read here the difference is even much bigger in England.

So I would definately promote even if it means a struggle season next year.

Plus what would the players say if you told them to intentionally lose the last games!? Be realistic, go to Prem mate

I am currently with my Woking save in a triple back to back promotion into the npwrl 1, this really helps your team financially, and a high rated championship team with a bit of cash can survive the PL with some good singings

So, I promoted, I even finished 1st. Now I have to strenghten my squad in ever area. I finished the league with this team:
Valverde
Ribeiro-Bartley (Loan)- Spector-Mavinga
Sneinderlin-Ayasse
Chamberlain-Lallana-Ryo Miayichi (loan)
Jennings
What area would need the most?

Well done on gaining b2b promotions.

However, it looks like your squad needs a lot of improvement to stay in the EPL.

Depending on what kind of transfer budget you recieve:
I'd suggest scouring teams in Scandanavia, and maybe Czech Republic, Poland etc to find bargains. Also look in international teams from smaller countries to see what kind of players they have available.

Alternatively you could look for players available on a free transfer.

I received 39 million in transfer window, so I needn't to go for some cheap bargains.
My current team is like this:
Valverde
Ribeiro-Bartley-Spector-Wallace
Schneiderlin-Jenas
Weiss--De Bruyne--Lallana
Tafer
And I with the season half way, I'm currently standing 5th in PL, with EC in sight =P

39 million at southampton? how on earth did that happen!

try not to spend all of your transfer budget because your finance will be affected by it and you dont want to be in minus realisticly especially if your making a loss every month

I actually have no idea! I could go for:
Attempt to avoid relegation: 30 million
Avoid Relegation: 39 mill
...

It's too late for that! But my monthly turnover is +2.1 mill, every month, so I guess I'm doing something right?

I got back to back promotions with peterborough, but come october im struggling already....

Off topic, how does Ryo turn out? He was dissapointing in my 2nd Arsenal season, constant adjustment problems, always nervous, but in real life he looks like a beast so maybe I mismanaged him?

In the Championship, he was really good! He scored 9 times and had a overall rating of 7.10.

Now I'm in a sticky situation. All the foreign Topclubs want to have me. I rejected Roma, Valencia, Villareal. But now the real big clubs are coming, AC Milan wants my signature, what to do? Just go for it? Or just stay with my southampton save?
