i have just started a save as Chelsea and i am in need of a back up for John Obi Mikel if he gets injured, i have £60 million to spend

any suggestions welcome !!

Phil Jones from Blackburn will provide cover for DM and CB and will improve quickly. Good player.
 
Anthony Annan, Moussa Sissoko, Casares, there's plenty to choose from.
But with that budget I would say Moussa Sissoko.

well just go for all three, Jones 10mil, Sissoko 10mil leaves you 40mil to get de rossi

i'm not gunna get all 3, might go for phil jones just because he's the youngest and he's english

de rossi is too good to be backup, hes world class he would be in any starting 11,
same with moussa sissoko, hes awesome.
get daniel kofi agyei, young dm from fiorentina, get him for about 5 mil and hes very similar to mikel so you could get him learning from him and in a few years time he could replace him!
 
dont ***** all your cash on defensive midfielders as you have an old squad that needs an overhaul.
Ramires, Essien, even Conor Clifford can cover there. Plus you have Matic on loan.

i'm not decided to get phil jones for 10 million, essien is better further up, don't really rate ramires and conor clifford i am trying to use in carling and fa cup

i am a big fan of Mikel and he is 23 so he is my long term goal will only look for a replacement for him in about 5 years time when he is approaching 30

Vidal has done well for me in my sunderland save on fm2010 , might send a scout to get atch reports on him
 
Fabrice Muamba can cover for Mikel pretty well. I've used him as a rotation player before.

Ramires doesn't cover that well. Mancienne can do the job as someone in the club already.
