This is the second game in a row where this has occured. Messi got hurt in about the 30th minute so I subbed in Pedro who scored after about 8 minutes of playing to break the stalemate. Then Villa gets tired so I replace him with Neymar who scores twice, one goal also within the first 10 minutes of being subbed on. Do other people experince their subs being more effective than their starters even when brought on early in the game?

sometimes your starter may have been marked tightly therefore they are not performing up to standard and bringing on fresh legs might change the situation... i experienced this a number of occasions where i bring out my key player who is playing below my expectation to bring in fresh leg and he made an instant impact..

I would agree with JR completly. I have this happening all the time when my main players are marked tightly and closed down often and unable to anything other than run around the park aimlessly. The sub's then come in, and are not marking or closed down as tightly and just do things that are pure magic!

to add... your backup players are first team starters for most teams so of course they can make a difference :)

This. I find it hard to believe you didn't realise as you were typing out 'Neymar' in a backup player thread. I bet you'd enjoy a Man City save!

1 example is my current save with man utd :D i had chicharito, anderson/hazard, carrick/moutinho, nani/valencia on the bench most of the time due to rotation haha...
