I'm playing as Leamington in the skrill premier (just got promoted), none of my old team form the north want to resign, I also find it hard finding players anywhere decent enough that want to sign. I don't get it, my rep has gone up, finances are OK.

I had the exact same problem with Weston Super Mare. My team that got promoted from Skrill South is probably better than the one i have now in Skrill Prem. Also my scouts seem to think im still in Ss as if i get a 5 star player they say hes a good North/South player? My scouts are not bad they have 13&14 judging player ability.

Is it a bug or something?

Same for me. Took Salisbury from bottom of Skrill Premier to League 2 and after 2 seasons of trying to get anyone half decent to sign for me I gave up. I finished 15th in League 2 in my first season at that level then after 24 games in the 2nd season I took the job at Kidderminster who were bottom of League 2. I could sign so many better players than at Salisbury. This is definitely something that needs looking at.

Reputation won't increase drastically upon promotion. It took me ages to realize Stevenage were in the Football League. And honestly, would you want to go to a club that just got promoted meaning bookie's favourites for relegation.

This has been acknowledged by devs on the official forum. I think they're looking into it.

iv got salisbury and im now stuck after promotion, I cant sign anybody even players from skrill are not interested. every other fm i have played and used salisbury always had players eager to come to me after promotion.

Having the same problem with Stockport (and had it with Preston too). Upon winning promotion, no one wants to sign for me and I wouldn't consider the targets I'm going for to be unrealistic. Whilst I understand players not wanting to sign from a higher league due to us being potential relegation favourites, what about when I approach players who are on teams in the division I just left, or who are part of teams who have been relegated to the division I just left (and are therefore unhappy etc). Surely some players would be interested in playing in a higher league, regardless of the circumstances? Given that both Stockport and Preston are clubs that have been in higher leagues, I also don't think their reputation should be so bad that no one will touch them. It's quite frustrating, so I hope it's fixed soon.
