STEP 1. first of all if starting a new game make sure you have nations like Spain, Italy, France, Germany, England and most important Brazil.
Just like FM 2012 at the very start of the of the game you can sell your un wanting players straight away and get a good price but also and this is important that you put a clause on like 50% off next sale etc etc, but when selling your players the best way to make most of the money is by selling those with pathetic wages 40+ who are not gonna get first team appearance and are just sitting in your reserves and for me i never use the DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL to handle incoming or outgoing transfer you will be missing out advantages like clauses or buy back if you let him handle this so DOF is a NO NO.
A little trick of mine on making money and my financial saying will be MAKING MONEY AROUND PLAYERS seems daft doesn't it lol, but its been working for me for over the years on FM dating back when it was on the XBOX, MMAP involves getting the best price possible for players this includes age, position and attributes, first step is your tactic (off course) theres no point in buying a player thats a winger and you have a 4-1-2-1-2 tactic thats just stupid and a waste of money.
The trick to making loads of money would be mostly better used at the end of the season when your players are on holiday once again use the trick as you would at the start of the game sell them for double there value and 50% clause most the time you have teams putting in monthly installments somewhere between 24-48 months if so accept it you may not get the whole lump sum but at least you get something every months also what ive notice is that when the other team sell your player and say you have 32 months for them to pay you they will still have to keep paying for them 32 months regardless if the player has been sold on to another club.
Another trick to get extra money of the board is to put the rest of your money into the wage budget untill you have 0 balance just before the jan transfer market opens because as long as your wage budget is up to standards the board will give extra money for keeping within the limit.
1 way as most ppl would of known by now is getting cheap young players first thing when buying young players is to check there contract clause first before diving in, players like OKORE, NEM, ADEMILSON, WALLACE and many more have low contract clauses less than 6 mill which is really good and you could also make loads and loads of money in the future.

PPL have been asking me how i got top class young players like zouma well heres another great trick get the players scouted and see if there interested or slightly interested and simply talk to the press on 3 occasions ADMIRE YOUNGSTER , ADMIRE PLAYER then DO EVERY THING IN POWER TO GET HIM after saying these 3 things wait till he responds to all 3 and then check his info and look at personal favorites if your name shows up you might be in with a chance to get him but also check to see where his current club lies in the league if the doing really bad now the time to use endorse in the press and pick the second option from the top and get him unsettled but mind you it wont work all the time, also loaning a player out and have a future fee could also a good way to get players cheap for instant ive loaned HERNANDES from MAN U and offered 9.5 mill on future fee View attachment 285404and now his valuation is going up so by the time i buy him at the end of the season his value wont drop back to 9.5 what i paid for but higher it happened the same with ZOUMA.
And finally free transfer, out of contract and asking price is a great way to boost your finance, on transfer search put on asking price to 0 at first to see if theres any talent this could come use-full for MID and LOW teams and if you raise your asking price to 500k you'll notice some players are worth over 2-3 mill, for contracts expiring check before end of december or else another team will grab them up for example View attachment 285412
some nice players to grab for first team without spending a penny and if they end up rubbish sell them in next season transfer market and also watch out for wage demands.

( NEW UPDATE ) i found a way to get your targets unsettled at there current club, first thing you need to talk to the press about the player as said above but this time dont pick the consolidate player instead make an enquirer when making a transfer offer it should be the 3rd one down when making an offer, then just keep using this until he is transfer listed.
