My Bayern Munich story starts with manager Justin Mullen taking over his first managerial position at Bayern in the summer of 2009. Hoping for the best, I put together a team i thought would put up numbers and points in the tables... and they did. From the 2009-2010 season, to the 2016-2017 season, Bayern won 8 consecutive league championships, with the best season being the season of 2012/13 when we were 12 points clear of second place Leverkusen putting up 82 pts and scoring 100 goals while only conceding 34 (gd +64) largely thanks to Mario Gomez who has a record breaking season scoring 53 goals in all compeitions with 37 of them coming in the league and finishing with a final average of 7.69. Finally a strong Leverkusen side toppled the Bavarians by 2 points on the last match day of the season in 2017/18 but that didnt keep the reds down. The 2018/19 season would see FC Hollywood return to the top spot for the 9th time in 10 years by returning the favor and beating Leverkusen by a meer 1 point. It was truly a dominant decade for Bayern in the bundesliga, but it doesnt stop there.

Bayern added more trophies to their growing case throughout the decade with another 3 German Cup victories and 1 Champions league trophy as well. Bayern did well over the years through out European football, qualifying for the knockout stages 10 straight years, reaching 4 quarter finals, and reaching 3 finals while only winning 1. The last CL final was a "cracker" in the words of Andy Grey as Holger Badstuber received an early bath from a 52nd minute red card but Bayern held strong against a powerful Athletico Madrid side that had won the past 2 CL finals and looking sure for a 3rd when Hector Estrada curled one home from outside the area only to see Sergio Aguero equalize in the 83rd. It was a bore match from that point on and came down to penalties where Athletico prevailed 7-6 off a save on current FC Bayern youngster David Alabas poor choice of placement.

Justin Mullen has seen his club sky rocket in stature and the world has come to notice. He currently sits 3rd in the German Hall of Fame and is tied for most trophies with 14 total and 20 managerial awards. Mullen has also worked his way up the continental and world wide hall of fame, sitting 13th in Europe and 18th though out the World. With all this success, Mullen credits a lot of the success to the top form of German super star Mario Gomez.

Mario Gomez put up ridiculous and consistent numbers through out his career at Bayern. Gomez put up 251 goals for the reds in 312 app. over 10 seasons with a career and record high 37 gls in one season in the bundesliga with 53 in all competitions. Mario gomez will always be able to look back at his outstanding achievements. Here are the highlights of Mario's fine career...
