Alright guys

Thinking of starting a save with bayern & didnt know if i should look to build for the future or bring in players that will go straight in to the first team or a bit of both?
& any suggestions on players/staff i could bring in or get rid of?

Cheers!

I'd say to get rid of the old useless guys, buy mainly young players assured your team is good as it is. If you find yourself needing then pay what it takes.Specific buys : der-Stegen, a good young right back( corchia or w/e), a promising striker, cm and aml.

Depends entirely on your managerial style. I always sell old players and look to build for the future. Manually scout clubs from different countries so you can poach their best regens, and basically just buy young quality players. At Bayern, you'll also have a lot of world class regens over the course of your save, because they really produce some gems.

Check out Bryan Rebello from Athletico Sevillia (Reserve Team) hes a Attacking Midfielder (L,M,R). Just 18 years old, but a 4 and a half star player in future - definitiv purchase ;) if i were u i would offer pep to be your assistant :D

You have an amazing squad at Bayern with no real weaknesses abattoir from attacking midfield being a bit lacking in depth as robben and ribery are injured. You don't need any cb as Dante, Boateng and Badstuber are some of the best in the game. As for wingers I got Ozil from Real Madrid for 15m. I also got Kevin Volland, Niklas sule and timo Werner as young backups. I also real released 25 youth players and sold hurzler, Jennings, tymo, vrzogic and rafinha for 20m. Contento is a brilliant player and remember you don't always have to trust your asst. man reports. There am overall rating and they are misleading. Play gustavo and Martinez ON ROTATION. Else you will fail as Martinez needs time to settle in. Mandzukic is class as a backup and so are starcke, contento, DVB, adryan, and Volland.

All this talk of Die Bayern has got me interested now...might have to start me a new game :)

Do they make much money, I know the German leagues are meant to be well run in terms of finances, does that hamper wages and things?

You have a fairly large wage/transfer budget at the start of the year. And youlle get a lot more 2013. It's rather low at the beginning as Bayern just signed martinez(30m) Dante (5m) Shaqiri (12m) and mandzukic (13m)

4-2-3-1 usually as they play it in real. Neuer-Lahm,Badstuber,Dante,Alaba-Schweinsteiger,Martinez-Ribery,Kroos,Muller-Gomez/Mandzukic

Erick Torres AMC/ST, hes pretty young at first but he went to Bayern in my save and was amazing
