Is there any way I can turn off the BB code because I just cannot work with it?

Yeah... just don't use it.

For example if you wanted to write normal plain text you'd just do this.

But if you wanted it in bold. You'd do this.

when I want to centre the text it comes up [centre] is there anyway I can stop that?

You can switch to the wysiwyg mode by clicking the A/A in the top corner of the edit box.

Yeah, I.E just actually does what you want it to do.

Works fine with BB turned on and off for me on both Opera and Firefox....
