BBC Posting

Can we or should we get rid of the BBC

Hi, as we all know the BBC posting bot or human what never answers anyone
is constantly posting about things we already know
such as chelsea 4-0 blackpool then the thread just gets closed.
does fm base have to let them off or can we ban them as there
just blog up the site?

i get really ****** off seeing things what are in other threads.

Yeah, I mean I think that rather than get rid of the stories from recent threads they should get rid of the BBC :)
 
sometimes it will post stuff that people havent. its fine as it is. its no problem for the mods to close them if they are not needed, takes a matter of seconds
 
We also get threads we didn't have, so no, not in my opinion.
 
Hate it when people complain about BBC Sport!

yeah but dont you get annoyed, it just makes thread's we know

BBC Does good threads, Let the BOT stay :D
 
I remember a while back it freaked out and spammed the forum with thread after thread after thread. Ugh it was awful, FMbase would barely load.
 
It does not always post the same threads sometimes its actully quite interesting. Long live the bots (K)
 
I don't mind,they are less Spam than most of the other threads. It starts some very interesting discussions usually.

not always, it actually pots a fair amount of stuff that people havent put up.

though one thing i would like is for the bot to post the article in full if possible?

It's a bot. It gives us a feed of the latest news.

It can't answer your questions XD

It's threads are > most other peoples.

What's really annoying is when people post "spam, ban the BBC!" etc every single time the BBC feed is slightly slower than a member in posting a thread about a match.

If there's already a discussion on what the BBC bot posts, simply ignore it a mod will close it or just let it die. If someone posts something the BBC have covered, a mod will point you to the BBC thread or possibly even merge the two threads.
