BBC Sport skin

Hi,

I'm having trouble installing a skin on to FM10. I have unzipped it with winrar. I then went to put it in the place where people were saying it should go, in a folder name skins. There wasn't a folder named skins. So I tried creating one and putting it in there and that didn't work either. I am using Windows 7. Could someone out there who has already installed it correctly using Windows 7, give me a hand and tell me step by step how to install it? It would be a massive help. Thanks

go to my computer at the bottom u should see ur documents folder not shared documents but whatever ur name is then documents go in there
then u should see a sports interactive folder go inside it
then u will see a football manager 2010 folder go inside it
then u should see a list of folders including some called
crash dumps
db
filters
games
graphics etc etc
go to the one called skins if it is not there make a folder called skins NO CAPS

inside this place whatever skin u have downloaded once u have extracted them eg if u download a skin called bbcsportskin the folder will be bbcsportskin put this inside the skins folder

once u have done this load ur game up
go into preferences and then display and sound u will see the menu to select a skin use the dropdown menu to get the skin u want click ok thats it done the skin should now load

dont forget to untick 'use skin cache' and tick 'always reload on confirm'

Yeah, I have done that, still hasn't come up on the skins choice Strangely, I have two folders called Sports Interactive in my documents, but I've tried both and nothing seems to show up. Gutted, I know it doesn't do anything but it looks really nice!

go on the first sports interactive folder

I think i'm having the same problem...downloaded file, extracted to shortlst folder, boxes are unchecked and checked but it's just not appearinhg for selection..

It should be in the skins folder mate not the shortlists

i love that bbc sports skin! in my top 3 for sure.

and yes what steve said untick use skin cache, tick always reload on confirm and create a skin folder and stick the skin in that folder.

I've sorted it, for some reason the destination was:

docs-SI-fm10-bbcsport2010-bbcsport2010-graphics panels etc.

2 bbc sport folders, one opened into the next. Thought this seemed weird so I deleted the entire folder and re-downloaded, re-extracted and only one was recreated. I don't know why this made a difference but it did. Maybe I made a folder and extracted into it the first time, I can't remember.
