As most of you will have seen Godfish93 has created a new story (see link above) which creates a new team filled with member made wonder-kids. I currently have a player in that squad along with many others and has been great fun following the progress. I am looking to start a new story and was going to create a team with the same database he used, but didn't think it would feel right using that unique team.

I wont lie this is pretty much a stone cold copy of his challenge but really wanted to give it a go and gives some other people a chance to get involved this story. The benchmark has been set very high with the in depth analysis and detail, so this is unlikely to be of that standard. I also dont get a huge amount of time to play fm so this may move quite slowly but feel free to sign up and get involved.




The team will be set in the Vanarama Conference South, and will not similar level facilities which will have to be upgraded through the success of this team. Only 6 low ranked nationalities will be available for your player. This is a small side challenge to see if 4 wonder-kids at each nation can bring international success.


  • I will be looking for 22 other people to sign up if possible.
  • Formations used 4,1,2,2,1 / 4,2,3,1 / 2,3,2,1,2 (wingbacks) (this formation will be flexible).
  • The primary positions required will be listed and taken at a first come basis and i will update the list as quickly as possible.
  • There will be a choice of 6 nationalities to choose from with a maximum of 4 from each nation (one with 3) taken at a first come basis and i will update the list as quickly as possible.

Team Name Suggestion - (I opt for a defunct team to bring back from the dead) Thames A.F.C - they were a team from Custom House in East London. They played from 1928 until 1932 so they clearly dont have a deep history however they played at a ground called "West Ham Stadium" which was 120,000 capacity ground (making it the largest ground in England to regularly host League football at the time) near the Boylen Ground but has never had anything to do with West Ham United. They played in Red and Blue with White Shorts and Black Socks.
