Becoming a British Icon
The Introduction

View attachment 443003
In this story, with the 4 British nations loaded, and a large db. My plan is to attempt to win every trophy in Britain, with a side starting in the lowest default tier of all the nations (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland). Also winning the Champions league with each of the sides!

Trophies:
Skrill N/S
Skrill Premier
FA Trophy
Skybet League 2
Johnstone's Paint Trophy
Skybet League 1
Skybet Championship
League Cup
FA Cup
English Premier Division
Champions League (English)

Welsh Corbett Prem
Welsh Premier League Cup
Welsh Cup
Champions League (Welsh)

Belfast C2 (Tobermore United 2013-2014)

Belfast C1
Irish Cup
League Cup
Northern Ireland Intermediate Cup
The All-Ireland Cup
Danske Bank Premier
Champions League (Northern Ireland)

Scottish League 2
Scottish League 1
Scottish Championship
Scottish Challenge Cup
Scottish Premier League
Scottish Cup
Champions League (Scotland)
So where to start?

Wow, wow and wow. With a good luck thrown in too. This could be epic. :D

youve missed out the johnstone paint trophy but this will be an amazing challenge

Sounds good pal!!
Might be in this for the long haul. haha
Will defo keep my eye on this.

Do you mind if I use this idea to turn into a challenge for others to try as well?

Season 1 (2013-2014)

Tobermore United

So the first update is here. My journey starts with Northern Irish Belfast C2 (Third tier) side, Tobermore United. Their media prediction is 3rd and I'm expected to achieve promotion. There are no playoffs - it's just the top two sides.

The squad looked lacking in depth, but with probably 8 or 9 players who I would have in a league-dominating side. I released those who didn't make the cut (Less than 3 stars CA) and began hunting.

One thing I really like about these challenges is the freedom in the lower leagues to mould a team to your tactic. My tactic was always going to be my FM friend Seanhrfc's Deep 442 Counter attacking. Will post link when i find it. But here it is.

It's just awesome, basically.

So here is the final league table and fixtures:

So we earn promotion, fairly convincingly in the end, although after 20 games there was only 1 pt seperating the top 6, we kicked on in the last 10, finishing on an 18 game unbeaten run. It's also worth noting the cup competitions where we beat division above Bangor 4-0 who earned promotion to the Premier, also beating Limvady 2-1 who finished 8th , Dergview on penalties who finished 5th , and lost 1-0 to top division outfit Ballymena conceding in the 94th minute after a red card. So those signs say that this team could go for back to back promotions.

In terms of Key Players, there are so many. However young gun McDonnell, who had 5* CA at 16 , was a fantastic target man. Also Non-Contract Lynch scored several in the advanced forward role, left winger Cockcroft (Little giggles) was a consistent game-changer and the holding midfield of Henegan who i was lucky to keep hold of was vital too.

So Tobermore United give me the Belfast C2 title. If I'm entered again, I will add the intermediate to the list. The challenge has got off to a good start however!
