Bedding in the stars; a Madrid story
Breaking News!
We can confirm that Manuel Pellegrini has today been sacked with immediate effect. After a disappointing showing in both league and Europe, we decided it would be best if we appointed someone else to take charge of our famous club.
It is with the club’s best intentions at heart, that we have decided to appoint Ryan Jones, the former Liverpool and Real Madrid star will take over immediately.
We understand some fans unease at Mr. Jones lack of managerial experience however we feel he’s more than capable than leading us to domestic and European success.
More to follow.

Good luck mate, hope you do well. I'll be keeping track :)

best of luck mate you all ways post on my storys so i try and follow

Cheers guys, updates will be tomorrow, played pre-season and almost finished the first month.
I'd just like to point out though, that i'm not one of these that plows through seasons, i take my time, so don't expect updates every day. Probably every 2-3 days :)

remember barcelona are there too, not gunna be easy toppling them :/
and anyway, i have england, spain, italy and germany loaded, so i plan on moving a lot! ;D

I recomend signing Diego Capel from sevilla. He gave my Mardid team more options down then left and enabled me to play marcelo in LB. Capel and Ronaldo playing on the wings and the goals just keep coming. Best of luck mate :)

I can’t believe I’m here, living in the Spanish capital and managing probably the biggest club in Spain!
The club have set me up with this fantastic little apartment in the middle of the city. It’s great! I’ve been having Spanish lessons daily after training and slowly but surely, my Spanish is getting better. Which is something I’m proud of; it shows that I’m making an effort for my job. I think since I’ve been here, I have developed a love for this club, and everyone at the club. Some of the lads I coach are just mesmerizing, better than I thought after watching them on telly. I mean, Ronaldo is just truly out of this world, and then there’s players like Kaka, Raul and Xabi Alonso, some of the world’s best. I’ve also been impressed with new signing Stefan Jovetic. He can play on the wing or upfront and the fans love him already.
The weathers great, the city’s great and so are the Spanish women. I’ve met this women called Carmela and every time I’m with her I’m left breathless. Anyway you’ll meet her when you come over to visit. When are you coming over again? How are you by the way? And how’s my little sister, Katie doing? Give my love to everyone please!
All my love, your son
Ryan
Ps. Make sure you watch skysports at 8pm English time to see my first game!

Note: first update to come shortly on my first month managing the galacticos!

Good luck, not a hard challenge, but I shall be following. Nice layout too.

Game of the month review
Real Madrid – Liverpool
Santiago Bernabeu
29.9.2009
This game was expected to be close, But Madrid blew Liverpool out the water:
here’s how they lined up:

Madrid gained revenge for that thrashing they endured at Anfield a couple of seasons ago by dishing out their own hammering. A comfortable 4-0 win in a game where Liverpool rarely threatened. A lovely ball was swung in to the far post by Kaka to pick out Ronaldo, who danced past two Liverpool players before smashing emphatically into the top corner. In the 32nd Minute Esteban Granero scored a real poachers effort, tapping in the rebound from Kaka’s shot. 3 minutes after the restart it was 3-0 to Madrid, with Higuain scoring a superb goal, cutting inside the full back before bending one into the far corner. The scoring didn’t stop there and Cristiano Ronaldo scored his second of the game after again beating a Liverpool player before lashing a low, thunderous drive into the bottom corner from just outside the eighteen yard area. Liverpool tried pushing forward on numerous occasions but they proved they are a two man team, often looking for Gerrard and Torres during many of their attacks who were often outnumbered by the Madrid defence.
Here’s what Madrid manager Ryan Jones had to say after seeing his side comfortably beat the side he’s supported all his life:
Obviously it was a fantastic result for the lads and it puts us in a really strong position at the top of our group. Especially as I saw Liverpool as our main rivals. Obviously with them being the team I’ve supported all my life it was an emotional night, and I expected more of a performance from the Reds here, but they just never showed up. I’m glad we kept the two danger men, Gerrard and Torres quiet all night as if they’d have been allowed time and space to operate, it could’ve been a very different game. I was particularly impressed with Ronaldo tonight, and it’s easy to say why the club paid a staggering £80 million on him. I hope this result gives us the confidence to go on and catch Barcelona in the league.”
This report was written by George Bramall.
