Being the youth team

Can you be just the youth team so you don't have to control the main team?

If so can you tell me how

In manager options you can choose to handle the young team games...I think, I never tried that

Well, the only thing you can do, is pick the youth team, and when you have a game with the main team, go on holidays and let the assistant handle the game. Only way.

i know you can choose to handle the youth games but can you then choose to not do the main team games?

no, you can control the youth team as long as you manage the first team as well.

I'd like to see the option to be a youth coach/coach/scout/assistant manager option installed into the game. I know its called football MANAGER but I dont always want to manage . Even the option to be a chairman or start your own team would be cool.

i dont think there would be much facilities they could have to make teh game as addictable being a youth coach or scout?

you can be a under 18 or 21 for a national team but it gets a bit boring after a while

I think the idea of being able to manage just the youth team would be good. It'd be a good place to start off and learn the trade as it were.
